AK got to ring the bell!
Before the main speaker, Ms. Kendall takes all the "critters" down to the clubhouse for a small lesson. This week was the largest critters crowd ever and included a special craft - playing with shards of glass! Just kidding, kind of. Two Lakemont members volunteered to provide supplies for all the critters to make stained-glass crosses by gluing colored pieces of glass to larger clear pieces of glass. The plan was that they were going to take all the crosses back to their workshop and melt them and bring the final products back later in the summer. At first I thought it was going to be too complicated for Henry & Anna Kate but they surprised me by catching on right away and really getting into the crafting!
