I've been getting requests for more pictures, so here are a few recent ones:

 

Anna Kate's First Hike

Over the weekend, we went on a short hike near the Chattahoochee River. It was a perfect day for Anna Kate's first hike, although she did have an extreme diaper "situation" mid-hike requiring a lot of supplies that Mommy and Daddy failed to pack. Live and learn.

Growing Baby

We've been trying to figure out how much Anna Kate has grown. We can tell she is longer and heavier, but we haven't found a great way to get official measurements. I guess we'll just have to wait until Friday when we have our one month pediatrician visit. We think she is going to be over 9 lbs!

1 Month Old!

Anna Kate turned 1 month old today! The month has flown by. Armed with Ben's camera and a new lens he got for his birthday this month, we set out to do a backyard photo shoot with our little lady. Unfortunately, Anna Kate was so upset that we weren't properly celebrating Auntie Robin's birthday (YAY!) that she wasn't very cooperative. We still managed to get some cute ones.

Tour of Anna Kate's Room

Three weeks after Anna Kate was born, the glider we ordered in July finally came and we were able to finish the nursery. Even with the gray walls and gray leather chair, it is very cheerful and colorful.

First Real Bath

Anna Kate's umbilical cord finally came completely off, so we gave her a real bath for the first time. She was quite shocked at first, but didn't think it was too bad (which is a good thing because she REALLY needed a bath).

Game Day Spirit

Anna Kate dressed up for the Georgia Tech football game (thanks Brooke!) but she couldn't help her favorite team avoid their first loss of the season.

Official Newborn Photos

We received our pictures from Friday's official newborn portraits today in the mail! Heidi Najdek did an amazing job of photographing Anna Kate. She even made our overgrown back yard look like a lush garden! They were all wonderful, but here are some of our favorites.
