7 Month Pictures

Anna Kate turned 7 months old today, and the weather was nice enough to do our normal backyard photoshoot. Here are some of our favorites from the afternoon. The two books at the end (I Love You Through and Through and Witches Four) are her favorites. I read them to her all the time when Molly was pregnant and most nights since, and it is almost miraculous how she'll stop whatever she's doing to hear me read the stories (both are memorized) - even in the middle of a major meltdown.

Dogwood Festival

On Friday evening we took MARTA downtown to the Dogwood Festival. We thought it would be more crowded than it was, so Molly packed Anna Kate in the Baby Hawk. She didn't find the crafts and music and such as interesting as we did and slept through most of it.

Germany or North Georgia?

Hard to say because we are in Helen! We are going hiking after lunch, but we had to stop at a Bavarian restaurant first.

Easter

The easter bunny left Anna Kate a fun basket with a plate/ bowl/ fork/ spoon/ cup set a few easter eggs and a book about the easter bunny.  Her favorite thing is the cup - she LOVES to drink water from the cup and cries if I try to take it away from her.

Oakland Cemetery

Neni was in town all weekend so we took her to Oakland Cemetery.  We did an almost two-hour guided tour and AK was great - she listened quietly to the guide for a while and then napped in her stroller.  She did have a breakdown on our way across the street to Six Feet Under for lunch but was fine after a quick snack.
