Father's Day

We started Father's Day with a trip to Waffle House:

Then did a LOOOONG hike to Fort Yargo State Park and finished the day with a Father's Day dinner with the Lawder fathers!

Lila practiced saying Happy Father's Day quite a bit, but couldn't get past "happy..." on camera!

Fort Yargo State Park

AK surprised us all last weekend when she hiked more than SEVEN miles around the lake at Fort Yargo State Park in Winder.  It was a relatively flat/easy hike but seven miles is a lot for anybody - especially a three year old!  She handled it like a pro and had enough energy left over to skip her nap and stay up late for a Father's Day dinner.

Minnie Mouse Birthday Party

We were very excited to attend another Lauren Reed party last weekend - this one was for Penelope's first birthday and had a Minnie Mouse theme at a spray park near our house.  As expected, it was SPECTACULAR and everyone had a great time.  We had to drag AK out of the fountains when it was time to leave.
