School Outfits

AK stayed home on Monday & Tuesday because she had a double ear-infection AND pink eye.  Sigh.  She is feeling MUCH better now, but on her first day back at school, she was involved in an incident where one of her "friends" pushed her into a chair at snack-time so she has a little knot/bruise behind her ear.  She is so much smaller than a lot of the kids - I hope she can hold her own in the toddler class (18-24 months) where she will be starting after we get back from our vacation in mid-April.

We FINALLY got the dots on the walls in AK's room!

Dance Party!

The local Music for Aardvarks group had a "Spring Fling" on Sunday.  Anna Kate was a little shy at first but eventually warmed up and danced, sang & crafted the afternoon away!  She even got her first tattoo (a ladybug with a flower which is STILL on her arm five days later.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bye Bye Neni & Pops

Neni & Pops had a great time in Paris and we loved having them visit for a few days after they got back.  Anna Kate was very upset when we had to say goodbye!

 

 

 

Alstede Farms

Last weekend we took Anna Kate to the Spring Family Fun Days at Alstede Farms.  She had a great time seeing all of the baby animals and participating in the world's lamest easter egg hunt (huge baskets of eggs sitting out in the open - each kid was allowed to take one of each color.)  It was freezing cold so we didn't stay for too long, but we may go back in the summer to pick some strawberries or blueberries.
