Sunday was a (relatively) nice day, overcast and warm (in the high 40s!) so we decided to get out of the house for a bit to visit the Walkway Over the Hudson. Per the website,
Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park is a linear walkway spanning the Hudson River. At 212 feet tall and 1.28 miles long, it is the longest, elevated pedestrian bridge in the world. As soon as we got out of the car in the parking lot we realized that we were SERIOUSLY under-dressed. It was FREEZING there and once we got out on the bridge the piercing wind made it so much worse! We managed to walk all the way over the river, but had to turn around before we got to the end of the bridge. I'm sure it is nice in the summer, but it was way too cold for anyone other than a polar bear yesterday!
