We had two relatively warm days last weekend (and even saw the sun a few times!) so we were able to use an ax and an ice chopper (like this) that the neighbors lent us to break up most of the six inches of solid ice that covered the majority of our driveway!
The nice weather was short lived though because the Polar Vortex came back with a vengeance and we are suffering through windchills in the negative 10 to 15 range now and are preparing for ANOTHER massive snowstorm on Monday. I still can't quite figure out why anyone lives here!

Even though some of the snow melted, every parking lot in the area has massive snow banks like these that aren't going anywhere anytime soon. It will be a miracle if these are gone by May. They get dirtier and more disgusting every day.
