We decided to head over to Table Rock State Park for a quick hike. After a brief stop at the Nature Center where AK and Henry touched a snake, we were on our way. We knew we wanted to do the short Carrick Creek loop at the bottom of the mountain rather than hike all the way to the top and since we had been there before we didn't check the map. Turns out that the hike was a little longer than we expected (2 miles) and was very steep and slippery because of the torrential rains, but we made it. Henry hiked the whole way and AK alternated between hiking and riding on Daddy's shoulders. By the end, we were all exhausted (and muddy!)
