Lila's 14 Month Photoshoot!
Weight: 18 lbs, 10 oz (measured at home)
Height: about 29 inches (measured at home)
Clothes: 12 month all the way
Teeth: at least 10, maybe more!
Likes: walking, reading books, doing things she is not supposed to do (climb on the fireplace, eat things from the floor, empty out cabinets), climbing up stairs, rollercoasters!, eating with utensils (she INSISTS on having a spoon or fork before she starts to eat), sitting on the potty, seeing animals (dogs and cats are mostly what we see...)
Dislikes: naps, not being the center of Mommy's attention, keeping her socks & shoes on in the car, sharing toys with Anna Kate

Advent Calendar - Part 1
Our advent calendar this year has been filled with Christmas activities. Anna Kate LOVES it and is always eager to see what each new day brings. Here's what we've done so far:
2 - Pick Out a Christmas Tree
AK & Lila has ZERO interest in picking out a Christmas tree.
3 - Decorate the Christmas Tree
4 - Breakfast For Dinner
5 - Learn a New Christmas Song
We used this idea to sing a Christmas version of If You're Happy And You Know It
6 - See Christmas Lights
7 - Make Christmas Cookies
8 - Watch A Christmas Movie
AK watched Frosty The Snowman. I assume she enjoyed it although I'm not sure because while she was watching, Lila somehow managed to flip out of her crib which caused quite a commotion upstairs (she was fine).
9 - Do A Christmas Puzzle
This is the biggest (size & pieces) puzzle AK has ever done. She needed a few hints the first time she did it, but now she can do the whole thing by herself!
10 - Picnic in Front of the Christmas Tree
11 - Tell Christmas Jokes
This one was kind of a bust. Although she laughed hysterically at every joke, she didn't really understand them. Sample joke: What does a snowman eat for breakfast? ICE CRISPIES!!
12 - Decorate Our Gingerbread House
13 - Purchase Gifts for Needy Children
1 - Make a Christmas Ornament (we made candy canes out of beads and pipe cleaners)

Another fun thing we've been going is using an app on Ben's phone that checks Santa's database to see if people are on the Naughty or Nice list. AK loves it and does her best to stay on the nice list!
