Puerto Rico: First Stop, The Pool
We got to Puerto Rico in the afternoon and quickly realized that the beach at our hotel wasn't great for babies - the waves were pretty intense and the area was in the shade in the afternoon which made it a little chilly since there is always a fairly strong breeze no matter where you go! No worries though, the hotel had three pools which were much more baby-friendly. Anna Kate loved the water - especially the fountains and waterfalls that were part of one of the pools.
Puerto Rico: Getting There
We had an early flight out of JFK which meant a VERY early morning for all of us, but we got through New York City with very little drama. Although you can't tell from the pictures, Anna Kate loved the wheels we got for her car seat so we could pull he through the airport without carrying her (very heavy) car seat. She was fantastic on the plane - there were extra seats so we were allowed to bring her car seat on the plane with us so she napped, snacked and played a few games and before you know it we were in sunny Puerto Rico!

17 Month Photoshoot
We did Anna Kate's 17-month photo shoot in Puerto Rico. I can't believe how big she is :-)
