Millburn Snowflake Parade

Our advent calendar activity for Sunday was going to the Millburn Snowflake Parade.  Millburn is a cute town not too far from Roseland and the parade size/length was perfect for a 14 month old!  The bulk of the parade was various girl scout/brownie troops who were (slightly violently) throwing candy at the crowd, but there were some horses, a few musical groups (bagpipes! a marching band! drummers!) and, of course, Santa.  AK had a great time dancing to the Christmas music and watching the parade go by.

The headband lasted for less than one second - sorry the picture is blurry!

It was very hard to keep AK out of the parade - she definitely wanted to join in!

Waving to Santa.

AK was very excited to see Santa until she realized that he was going to hold her.  NO GO.

Maybe next year...

Miscellaneous

Helping set up the Christmas lights

AK loves to Swiffer!

"Shouldn't I be wearing a coat?"

AK actually loves the felt Christmas tree that Neni and I made for her and will spend a few minutes redecorating it every day.  Inspiration here.

Anyone have advice on how to get toddlers to keep their mittens on?

Sports Fan

AK dressed up for the Georgia Tech football game - unfortunately, all of her "TOUCHDOWNs" had to be for Georgia because Tech got crushed.

We also went to the Temple Basketball game and watched them squeak out a win against Delaware.  AK loved being at the game and was bummed that the line was too long for her to participate in the post-game parent/child layup event.  Maybe next time...

Post-Thanksgiving Fun

Good catch!
Has anyone seen Henry?
AK decided she didn't want Baby Goose to have the bouncy horse after all
Football Man!

It's impossible to get a picture where both of them are being still!

Getting into the Christmas spirit :-)

Thanksgiving

We were lucky enough to be invited to Aunt Robin's house in Delaware for Thanksgiving   Aunt Robin and Uncle Jeff prepared a fabulous meal and we had a great time hanging out with the family all weekend.
