Delaware Children's Museum

It's unclear who had more fun at the Delaware Children's Museum - Daddy or Anna Kate!

Fun at Auntie Robin's House

Thanks so much to Auntie Robin to taking us in for a week while we waited for our power to be restored.  Even though AK was sick for part of the time, we still had a lot of fun and can't wait to visit again for Thanksgiving!

AK's backup Halloween costume was a bumble bee.  We thought it was too cute not to wear, so we tried it on a few days after Halloween.

In this picture, AK was practicing pouring beans from one container to another - it didn't go great.

AK's First Trip to the ER

Anna Kate still wasn't feeling better this morning, so we decided to take here to an urgent care place here in Wilmington, DE to make sure it wasn't an ear infection or something they could treat easily with medicine. That doctor said he was concerned about her breathing and said we needed to head on to the emergency room at the pediatric hospital (AI Dupont which is supposedly really good) across the street. The doctors and staff at the hospital were great, and Anna Kate was quickly through triage and taken back for chest x-rays, nose suction, and a breathing treatment. It turns out she had early stage pneumonia, an ear infection in one ear, and some respiratory virus! Glad we took her in! After getting some medicine in her, she felt much better and was up walking around and showing off all of her words and tricks. We go back tomorrow for a follow-up to make sure she's doing better, but here are some pictures from the eventful day.
